I LOVE New York!

haha..that's the catchphrase you see everywhere!! I even bought a bag with that on it..gotta get into the spirit!

And we are loving New York. So much energy..so much going on..the lights, the noises, the people..it's all NEW YORK.

We had a great tour around the city..and saw everything..the Empire State Building (Which we went up!) is wonderful. It has 202 storey's. We had to go to the 80th floor first, then to the the 86th, then to the top. Amazing views of the city. We did the touristy thing, got pics taken which cost a fortune. Oh well, not everyday you go up the Empire State Building! Didn't see King Kong tho...haha

Wall Street is tiny.....

The subway is an experience..last night on the way home, we were the only ones with colour and creed of our own...and it wasn't scary at all. (We're in budget neigbourhood haha)

Interesting all the different names for trains i reckon....in Europe it's the Metro...in England it's Tube...in US it's subway...and we're getting the hang of it, amazingly enough! We can certainly read maps now!!!! Anywhere in the world......crikey.

We've gotten the hang of tips....which is ok. They generally tell you what you should give...and we've basically been eating in fast food places where there are no tips!

We went to Macy's...Greg bought Kouros hehe..i bought nothing........gosh i'm good!! haha

Brooklyn Bridge is amazing...famous....

Gosh..Madison Gardens, Central Park, all the places you see on TV...it's just SO exciting.

The United Nations is in progress at the mo so it's really busy downtown NY!

There are communities here called, "Little Italy, Little India, Little Chinatown" all fun places to see and go strolling through, which we did.

Broadway is weird. Everytime Broadway crosses a block of buildings, there's a park on the corner!

Tonight..we're off to a BROADWAY play...to see a musical....we're so excited. I'll tell you about that when we've been!

And....................we're off tomorrow..to Washington DC to see the Whitehouse..and to see Niagara Falls....

But...we'll be BACK...in 4 days....

Yep, we're coming back here to New York for a couple of days before head off to Chicago!
